For Mothers' Day this year, we decided to go for Tim Sum at Wah Lok at Carlton's Hotel. The quality of tim sum is good for the price that we are paying (close to Crystal Jade's prices)

While Ah Ma is on Annual leave :)

Ah Ma and Ah Gong was invited by Eugene and Molly for a trip to Macau/HonKong shortly after CNY.
Naturally it meant that we have to apply leave to take care of our darling while Ah Ma is holidaying.

We brought Caleb for his favourite activity~Ship and Train watching at Vivo City
He loves to stand at the railings watching the boats. And whenever he catch the train zoom off, he will exclaimed, "Mami, thats the train!!!!"
Hahaha.. he's that innocent and easily satisfied!! Watching him really makes me feel blessed and happy!

We also visted the Underwater world in Sentosa. Its quite an experience for Caleb. Intially he appeared to be abit afraid, but after a while he started to dunk his hands into the pool to touch the swimming stingrays! We tried to ask him to feed the stingrays, but it was too ticklish for him. End up, the daddie did the job for him. Till today, he will still say he wanna go and touch the stingrays. Hahaha
The down side is we felt that the entrance fee is too expensive!!! Could the revelant department kindly review the cost??Make it more affordable lah.

Caleb is very tickled by this 'swinging man'. Kept watching and watching...

Venue: Aunty Irene's house warming

We are invited to Irene's house warming. She upgraded from a 4-room flat to a 5-room resale flat. We loved her new place! Its huge compared to her old place. The renovation was nicely done. Colour theme was based on her fav colour, Purple. She even managed to install a bathtub as well. Guess bath time for her children will be such much more enjoyable now.

Well, the cousins meet up once again for a jolly good time together.

Without realising it, Avriel turn 1 and she celebrated her Birthday on 9th Feb 08. Her mum, my sis is so overwhelmed by Avriel turning 1 that she cried at her birthday party. But i must say, motherhood is never easy and it really teaches us to appreciate our parents more!

Hello.. going through my photos and see them we have alot of 'stories' unblogged.Will try to complete asap.

Well.. will kick start with the Lunar CNY in Feb 2008. Its was a hard time trying to find a outfit for Caleb. This boy grows out of everything so fast and its really very siong on our pockets heehee... (any generous donation towards the funds for my boy's wardrobe??). So in the end, we settled for a Gap outfit. Both me and keith thought that it should be able to last us for a few months since we got rather big sizes. But who knows, when we tried it on for him, it was very fitting.

We broke the record this year by being the 1st family to reach the IL's place. No one was there yet. Soon, the rest came. This year is especially crowded at our IL's place as Eric's family has moved backed from the States. Hence this year, it is noisy with more children playing and screaming away and going crazy over some Ben10 watch. Hahaha.






Need to do a special introduction on Elisabeth. She is the 3rd child of Eric and Eileen. She was conceived around the same time as Caleb and hence their birthdays are just 1 week apart from each other. Look at her, what a sweet lil darling :)

Visit to Hay Dairies Farm

Caleb loves animals!We think he is a kampong boy. hahaha
He loves hamsters, guinea pigs, tortises, dogs, cats, etc.Well apparently he loves the goats as well. He went to stroke the goats, and we adults freaked out, as usual. Hahaha, it is what we called Kids' Innocence!

updates:caleb has been attending daily playgroup since Mar08.He cried 4 abt 1 wk+,after which he started 2 accept school. Come july,he will be officially 'promoted' 2 gor gor.Yup we r expanding our family tree sucessfully,i sure h0pe caleb can c0pe em0ti0nally.

Caleb has turned 2!!!!

We have a whole chain of events lined up for him specially for this day cos he was unable to celebrate last year due to eye infection. So this year, we have to make it up to him :)

In the morning, we headed down to the Singapore Zoo. Thanks to Pius Yi Zhang's auntie, we managed to get free entrance!! Yipee! Save some money heehee. It's a very good day to visit the zoo cos it was very very sunnie! When we stepped into the zoo, we were greeted by the monkey's loud and clear voice. Caleb was very entertained by the swinging monkeys on the tree. But we quickly moved on cos old folks told us not to see the monkeys. We missed the feeding time for the polar bears, so by the time we saw the bears, they were already lazing and almost falling asleep.

But we were in time to catch the zoo keeper feeding the giraffes. Caleb wasnt too overwhelmed by the giraffes. Probably he is put off by their long tongues heehee. We continued to explore the zoo, walking and walking and more walking.. Next time, we will be smarter and hop on the tram ride hahaha.

We left the zoo abt 12 noon and headed for Macdonald's for more indulgence heehee. We got a kids meal for Caleb and he happily chomped down 4 pcs of nuggets, 1/2 packet of apple juice and all time fav, french fries. Talk about indulgence, i'm sure he is feeling like a king or maybe prince heehee. After his lunch, we headed home for his nap. Hmm, not sure if he knows that its a special day. He took a short nap and was very alert after 1.5 hours of sleep. Poor Mum and Dad are still feeling very lethargic hahaha.

Nonetheless, we still proceeded on to Mah Mah's house where she and Aunty Lita was busy preparing for our evening pinic at West Coast park. Mah Mah's feast included a fruit salad~yummilicious!!!, fried prawn noodle, BBQ and deep fried wings. We also bought satays from our fav stall at Clementi. The mood+scenary was good! We can try to do it again some other day :)

Well, by the time we decided to cut Caleb's birthday cake, it was already dark. Hence pls pardon the pictures if they are not well taken. Caleb was very excited about his cake as it was his favourite Mcqueen! Although the min order was 2kg, we still decided to order this cake for him. We definately have problem finishing this huge cake. But seeing him so delighted and excited over his cake, we know its worth it! He was getting very edgy and cannot wait to blow and cut his cake. But we have problems locating the candle which Yiyi has bought. When we finally found it, it was in 1 of the bags. Haiz. But anyway Caleb was very excited with the Happie Birthday song and clapping of hands! He is so much more interactive compared to last year when he looked abit worried hahaha... This shows that our lil boy has grown up!

We surely hope that our little prince felt like the king on this special day! Thanks for all the efforts, Ah Mah, Ah Gong, Yi Yi, Yi Zhang and also Aunty Lita and not forgetting Avriel Mei Mei :) Cos with you guys around, I'm sure Caleb always feel happiest. Thanks for sharing this special day with us!
