1st Tooth Emerging

While cleaning BB Caleb's tongue, we spotted a whitish spot on his gums. Ohh.. its actually a tooth. We are very surprised to see it. Yes, no doubt BB Caleb drools alot recently and he is constantly biting stuff, we did not suspect that he was teething cos he was not very fussy. What a great surprise. We did not manaege to take a pic yet cos everytime we pressed his lips down, his tongue will come out. Heehee.. he must have thought.. Mum-mum time!i!

New Skill Attained

BB Caleb has sucessful mastered how to hold the bottle. We can now give him the bottle and he is able to feed himself. But we do not let him hold his milk bottle for fear of choking. But after he mastered this skill, he refuses to drink his water. So naughty

New Bed

We have just bought a new bed or rather a new mattress for BB Caleb. He has outgrown his cot already. This new mattress looks pretty good.It has 'walls' to prevent BB Caleb from slidding onto the hard ground. Ah Mah says among the many things that Mummy has bought, this bed is the best buy. Previously, Ah Mah has to constantly keep an eye on Caleb when she is busy preparing dinner in the kitchen. But now, she is more relieved cos Caleb will be 'trapped' inside the bed.

BB Caleb likes his new bed too. He is able to turn and flip within the bed, giving him more freedom. He is now able to get on his knees and do the rocking action. Sometimes, he even attempts to fly in front. We reckon BB Caleb will be able to crawl soon with all these training.




BB Caleb is now able to sit momentarily without support. We are letting him practise this religiously. Heehee..hopefully less carrying when he knows how to sit.

Camera Seeker

BB Caleb is a techno junkie. He adores mobile phones and camera. When we take pictures or videos, he will always look into the lens. So cute.. hahahahaa

6-in1 Jab

BB Caleb went for his vaccination today. We went to Doc Ng's clinic slightly earlier so that we can apply this cream prior to the jab. This cream is said to relieve the pain. This cream seems to be quite effective cos BB Caleb did not cry. Good Good!!
BB Caleb put on weight again. He now weighs 9.65kg and is 67cm tall. Hmm think he is overweight now. Mummie and Daddie are getting concerned already. We are trying to reduce his milk intake.
Ah Ma has trained BB Caleb to hold the bottle already. He can do it, but of course not that well. We only let him practise using the plain water bottle. Milk will be too dangerous as he may chock.

We had dinner at Thai Village on 2nd Jul. 2 occasions, 1 is to celebrate Angie's yiyi birthday and the other was to celebrate Mummy getting the payout from her company.

Stranger Anxiety Phase has started

BB Caleb has officially entered into the 'Stranger Anxiety' phase. When we bring him to someone's place, he will look around. If he finds the place not familar, he will bian jui and start crying liao... But surprising thing is, he does not behave like that at shopping centers. He only behaves like that when we do to people's house. Strange ya. Suspect that because house is very confined space and guess he does not like it.
Now, when strangers carry him, he will start crying as well. Guess this is just a growing up stage. We have just to learn to cope and manage it.
Papa also got a BB carrier from Uncle Mike. Seems like he is slowly adapting to it.. Hahahaaa hopefully he likes it.
Oh yes, we have just opened up a new toy for BB. Hmm had a hard time blowing it and filling it with water. Heehee.. pardon the 'zhu jiao' behind yah.

Night Excursion to Sentosa~Sakae Sushi

Ohh.. 1st night excursion to Sentosa to celebrate Nancy Yiyi's birthday. We met them at Sakae Sushi @ Sentosa at 7.30pm. Hahahahaa, but we are late. Sentosa has so many changes, and we are quite lost.
Sakae Sushi turned out to be pretty packed. Hence we decided to take the seats outside. The minus part is, there is no aircon. Its very warm too. Even BB Caleb's happening fan could not cool him down. But luckily no mozzies bite him, if not we will be so guilty. The yiyis are very excited to see BB Caleb again. They have not seen him for a very long time. But he was abit grouchy. Suspect this is because its night time and he is probably tired. Anyway some pics of the night.

Cutie is 5 months old!!!

Yipee!!! BB Caleb has turned 5 months old.. Big Boy already!!! Hahahahaha

Was looking through the pics of BB Caleb. He was so tiny than, but he has grown to be a big boy. Mummie is so happie. Ah Ma has done a good job! Well done. BB Caleb has already demonstrated the bond that he has built with Ah Ma. Ah Gong was carrying him and was teasing him that Ah Ma is coming, want her to bao bao anot? BB Caleb actually moved his hands towards her and wanted her to carry. He has never done this before, not even to his favourite Dad. Seems like there is good bonding there.

BB Caleb is now able to crawl backwards at amazing speed. Hahahaha. We would place him on a mattress and in no time, he will reach the end of the mattress. When he is sleeping in his cot at night, he will also crawl. Whenever he touches the wooden cot, he will start to stir in his sleep and this will wake Mummie who will then reposition him again. Think it's time to change the cot into a bed. He is outgrowing the cot already.

He also started to have funnie actions. He will clench his fist tight and bite his lower lips. Look abit like Popeye, the Sailor Man. Hahahahaa.

He is now able to hold and touch his toes with his fingers. Something which he really loves doing now. He is just starting to get to know his body. He also loves us making funnie faces or sounds to him, something which Angie Yiyi is very good at. He will always laugh at whatever Angie Yiyi is doing. We love his smile and laughter. Its so contagious. But he also also learnt to 'entertain' us if we are not that funnie. He will pretend to laugh. Wonder where he learn it from.

Lunch at Globetrotters @ United Sq

A quick update in case blogger hangs again... been updating this for 3 times already, hopefully can save this time.

OK, went for lunch at Globetrotters at United Sq on Sun. Met up with Mummie and Daddie's badminton kakis. The restaurant itself is very children friendly. Not only do they have a playground for children, they also offer Gerber jar food on their menu. Very interesting. Will definately visit them again. Alot of children are celebrating their birthday there as well.. Heehee may plan to celebrate BB Caleb's 1st birthday there.

BB was very excited the whole day. The restaurant had very vibrant colours on the walls which attracted his attention. He sure had alot of fun today.

Oh yah.. Mummie managed to capture 2 shots of BB looking really grumpy. Even though he looks really grumpy, but still very cute in Mummie's eyes.

Frightened???

haiz... wondered what is wrong with BB. He developed a fever on Sat but luckily recovered by Sunday.
So we brought him to Uncle Steven's BB's 1st month birthday party.I think he may have snatched the spotlight from the BB. Heehee.. everyone exclaimed what a cute BB he was, and everyone wanted to carry him. 1 granny sven too pic of him and promised me that she will develop and pass the pic to me. Heehee

Hmm, not sure if there are any linkage. But on Monday, while BB was taking naps, he actually cried out loudly. And it happened not only once, but thrice. As this has not happened before, we suspect it maybe due to the reason that strangers were carrying him around and BB could not see his dear parents.. Maybe he got frightened. Anyway both Mummie and Daddie has confirmed that next time we need to be around when people want to carry him

Oh yes, 1 more thing which we need to mention. BB is quite strong now. By pulling our hands, he can pull himself up from a lie-down position into a sitting position.We are very happy with his achievement.
Apart from this, he is now happily jumping up and down when we carry him by his shoulders. Wah, our arms sure is aching man, but we ain't complaining. Well since BB cannot flip, he gota do something right. Heehee



Remembered previously Mummie mentioned that BB loves to bit his lower lips now, we managed to catch a shot of him.. heehee..





This fierce face comes up also when we are trying to clean his neck.

BB down with Fever

BB came down with fever early this afternoon. His temperature linger between 37.8 to 38.4 degrees celsius. Mummy was worried and quickly fed BB with paracetomol. Mummy was alone as Daddy was away at work. Luckily, we have the cool fever pad in the fridge, quickly paste 1 on BB's forehead. He looked pretty cute in that.



Angie Yi Yi came to our place after her Tim Sum at Carlton Hotel. Despite having a fever,BB was happily entertaining himself in his sarong while Mummy and Angie Yi YI was chatting away.

After awhile, we carried him up to drink some water. It is important to keep BB hydrated when he is running a fever. We added the Delrosa rose water to enhance the flavour of the water so that BB could drink more.

Angie Yiyi started flashing the cards which Mummy has bought from The Bigshop @ Clementi. He enjoyed the flashing session very much espcially when it came to the word 'Tractor'. Angie Yiyi said BIG TRACTOR and guess his reaction.
